Dayana, Inc. is committed to ensuring that dayana.io is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We view accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time checkbox.

Standards we follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Conformance with these guidelines also helps make web content more usable for all users.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks so screen readers can navigate the site structure.
  • Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive elements.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds throughout the site.
  • Alt text on all meaningful images.
  • Resizable text that reflows at larger zoom levels without horizontal scrolling.
  • An on-site accessibility tools widget (in the footer) that lets you adjust text size, contrast, spacing, and motion preferences.
  • Skip-to-content links for efficient keyboard navigation.
  • Form labels and error messages that are announced by assistive technology.

Accessibility tools widget

The accessibility tools widget at the bottom of each page provides controls for text size, color contrast, letter and word spacing, line height, and reduced motion. These preferences are saved locally so they persist between visits.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following areas and are actively working to improve them:

  • Some embedded third-party content (YouTube videos, external booking forms) may not meet WCAG 2.1 AA in every respect.
  • Older PDF documents may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
